Rummy
Rummy is a card game for 2-4 players. The objective of the game is for the player to lay all of his/her cards.
The player whose turn it is must either take a card from the deck or the card discarded by the previous player. A player must lay his/her cards only during his/her turn and must have the necessary card groups or sequences to do so. At the end of the turn, the player must discard a card, irrespective of whether he/she laid any cards.
The player requires at least 30 points in order to lay his/her cards for the first time. The laid group or sequence is placed in the middle of the table. Any player, who has already laid once, may add his/her own cards to the groups or sequences.
Jokers also play a role in this game. They can take the place of any other card required to complete a group or sequence.
The round is over once a player has laid all of his/her cards. The values of the cards held by the other players are added up and count as negative points. Once a player exceeds the point limit set out at the start of the game, he/she is out of the game. The remaining players continue to play. The last player remaining is the winner. In the two-player version, the first player to exceed the limit loses.
