Account Verification

A fair and safe gaming environment, data protection and the protection of minors is of great importance to StarGames. As a licensed provider, we are subject in this respect to the provisions of the MGA (Malta Gaming Authority). In order to guarantee maximum security and transparency for our players, it is necessary to verify each account individually.

How does the verification process work?

If your payout total reaches €2,000 we require the following documents from you:

  • Proof of identity (passport, identity card or driving licence)
  • Proof of address (electricity, gas, water or internet bill, letter from your bank, insurance company, an official authority or body)

For successful verification of the address information, we require a document that is no older than three months. The verification of the account can in some cases (such as for security reasons) be carried out at an earlier stage.

Expanded verification process (KYC)

If proof of identity and address is not sufficient for verification, we will ask you to send us a photo in which you are holding the proof of identity next to your face.

Depending on the payment methods used, we sometimes require further proof. For example:

  • Bank statements
  • Screenshots of your e-wallet accounts (PayPal, NETELLER, Skrill)

This may especially be necessary if you have used payment methods that are not carried out in your own name.
