How long does a single-player game stay open?

In single-player games (e.g. Solitaire) a game once opened by a user stays open for approximately 5 hours. Other players have the option of entering the game during this time. The stake is set for the duration of the game. If no opponent is found, the stake is refunded to the player's account after the 5 hours are up.
